NaPoWriMo Day 28 - Two Sijo Poems
I'm back in the labour room, my legs propped for the difficult birth.
A nurse hovers over me, laughing like she is enjoying this.
I wake up trembling, again the dream of the baby I don't want.
~~~~~
Walking in my uncle's garden, I notice a few withered plants.
Just like how we pale after the knowing of a loved one's leaving,
Maybe these fragile beings knew about their owners' departure.
